Great value for central Sydney

Spent 4 nights here last week and were pleasantly surprised by how clean, modern and equipped the room was. We had a king studio room with an extra bed and I'd told the hotel this trip was for my son's 18th and hubby's 50th so they gave us their best room 603 which looked over Hyde Park. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Beds were really comfortable. Pavloh (hope I've got that right) was on reception when we arrived and he was really helpful, pleasant and polite.

Negatives: we did have an issue with our safe but that was quickly fixed, however the second time there was a problem the guy on reception wasn't so quick and we did feel this was too much trouble for him. The only other negative was the sign outside hotel saying the bar was closed. We asked about this in reception only to find out that it was open to hotel guests, should have a sign saying that in reception really. The reception staff double as the bar staff and on the night we did have a drink there again felt we were imposing on the female receptionist who was on duty with the guy dealing with the safe. Anyway small things but if all the staff were like Pavloh it would be great. All said and done very happy overall and would certainly not hesitate to return.
